Title: Four wheel alingment
Post by: b4ndit on 06 June 2013, 20:33:12
Had the car done today on a hunter hawk eye four wheel jig, and I must say I am very pleased with the result. took me about an hour to free the rear adjusters off though they were tight but all don now and a happy puppy ;D :y

Hopefully they did more than 4 wheel alignment.

Post up the printout, so we can see how good or bad it is :y

Not easy to tell which is which, I believe first is likely to be "before" and second is "after".

I'd suggest it doesn't handle that great, and it eats the inside edge of the OSF tyre for breakfast

Shouldn't they be 1°10' or there aboots :-\

That's utterly appalling. Drivers front camber is double what it should be, and front passenger camber is less than half what it should be.

It may handle ok now, but that will NOT last long with those settings.

In terms of set up, that's an epic fail.  :o

Money back time, then it elsewhere.

Name and Shame...so I know where to Avoid..

I use Buckley Tyres, they are normally 'Aim for the Green' merchants, but will go to your spec on request :y

that's fair enough, but you will come clean in 3-4 months time  when the rhf tyre inner edge is destroyed, won't you. :y ;D (ps if you watch btcc ypu will see some cars running aggressive negative camber to gain an advantage in cornering speeds, sometimes they even make it to the end of the race ;D)

If there are any problems further down the line I will hold my hands up and post it in the forum. the before figures have been like that since I have had the car and had no problems with it, either with tyres or handling, but just wanted to get everything checked. I will take all the comments on board and monitor the tyres and handling :y :y
