As has been said in the past there isn't really much point in a sunroof with a car with air-con.

Mine has a little flaking paint on the outer alloy rim  :-\

CDX/Elite came with them standard.  :y

I find the sunroof rather pointless to be honest, its also a tad loud, find myself shutting the blind.

But as above only standard on CDX & Elite, all other spec it was optional extra  :y

Standard across all PFL/MFL, except GLS with A/C option picked.

Only on CDX/Elite on FL, because we all know FL are inferior.

Find mine quite useful if I open it up for a few mins to let the heat out of the car when it's been parked all day. Aircon doesn't have to work so hard then!

I love my sunroof. AC alone would do my head in.

Not 100% true. I had a CD with no SR and recall the spec was changed at some point due to marketing reasons - at the same time as on the Vec B with many cars having SR at launch and then then becoming an option. Vx did this a couple of times in the '90s using it as an opportunity to lower the price as a SR is quite an expensive item to add in cost-wise ....

Aye , my vec B has no sun roof but dont miss having one ... keeps it cooler in the car without one and who wants to get rained on with the auto function  ::) ;D

The marketting material has it as standard from MY94 to MY99 inclusive, except GLS, which originally came with a sunroof, but soon had the option of free A/C in place of ESR.

Obviously, non retail models can be anything.

If you remember the reg, PM it over, I'll check it out :)

I agree with this where hot air rises, the car cools down very quickly on a hot day when you open the sunroof. Tend not to use it on the move where it is noisy.

I've got a 2001 CD without a sunroof & a 2000 CDX with one, the CD is a donor for the Scimitar don't like air con never use it, if the CD would have had a sunroof i would have cut it out and put it on the Scimitar
