I'm a lucky boy. I've been treated to a night out to see The Who tomorrow night in Manchester. Last time I saw them was in 1981 at Deeside Leisure Centre :)

You will be seeing 50% less of them this time then Pete. ::)
My daughter saw them at the O2 in London last Sunday.Said they were excellent. :y
-
Enjoy your night out, Pete.......and keep off the mind altering drugs, man. :y
-
Can any of them stand unaided these days? :)
-
I can just see it now, a packed arena heaving with wrinklies waving their arms about and Roger & Pete staring intently into the audience and saying.......'Ere Rog, that geezer on the front row wiv the big bag of spanners look familiar to you?'
Now you mention it Daltry my Son, ain't that the bleeder we let backstage at that gig in '81 who drunk us dry & buggered off with our Groupies? And by the way, that ain't a bag of spanners mate, that's his Boatrace! ;D ;)
Enjoy your night out Pete :y

Enjoy it mate--cannot help but laugh if they sing--My Generation ;D--there Generation would be tucked up in bed ;D

I saw 'em a few years ago at The Roundhouse in London. They were pretty good, but my lasting memory is of Daltrey standing on stage nursing a mug of tea studying the audience. Not exactly Rock'nRoll anarchists.

Didn't they do a tour a year or two ago and have to cancel some dates through poor ticket sales?
-
Envious,have a good night pete :y

Been lucky to see them twice and am hoping to grab a bargain ticket on the night they play Liverpool. One time was the Quadrophenia show...gobsmackingly good.
-
Enjoy , never seen them live but always good to bop along to in the car :y

I'd like to seem them, Just got tickets to see Depeche Mode in Paris next January. Should be good. Off tonight to see Bo Bruce at The Joiners. I like small venue gigs only 150 at the joiners, bit different to Paris and it's 15000 :o
