Due to the greedy government I had to downgrade to a Vauxhall Astra 1.7DTI MK4 Isuzu with 75BHP, 53 Reg :'(
I was looking at having it remapped, after doing some research it seems quite common for the bhp to be improved to 100bhp. Greatly improving the cars performance as it is a slug.
The car is x M.O.D and is as standard as they come, I have fully serviced everything possible to make it run the best it can but its still SLOW.
Is there anyone on here who is offering a remap service who is near to the Manchester area as I can't justify paying garage prices for a remap.

Shame you're not closer as I can get remaps done pretty cheaply.

Where are you based and what price do you charge?

Kent, so a long way away. He usually does them for me at around £150.

Ahh, I would pay £50 as the job isn't labour intensive and takes less than an hour. All's they do is plug it in to a computer and on occasion rolling road test it.

;D ;D It's not labour intensive no, but that's what they charge ;D. If you find anyone who will do it for £50 let me know because I'll be very interested :y :y.

Pity no one has the equipment who just wants beer tokens

Doing a remap doesn't take long, but the equipment involved and files downloaded to do it all takes money, and to be fair £150 is pretty cheap

Exactly, the equipment and files cost thousands.
