Plugs in just above the cable tray that goes across cambelt.

it looks like it rundown down near the altenator  :-\
does it bolt to the block ?
Is it the same as the 3ltr ?

Yep, behind alternator.
2.5/3.0 to 08137540      90511177
2.5/2.6/3.0/3.2 from 08137541      90541521

Have you checked the cabling. It`s similar construction to co-ax may just need re-shielding if the outer has a break

Right b!!tard of a job, alternator off,and aux tensionor, be carefull as the clips what hold the cable go brittle and break.
 when refitting make sure both surfaces are super clean and do not over tighten i think its 15nm but check first,as over tightening will kill it.
The common fault is cable just rubs and shorts out.

cables been nicked so it will be changed

Stuck the one off my breaker on it today

Bloody hell, I knew this was a good engine but I didn't realise just how much that chuffin sensor / eml light was holding it back.

Cleared the lights and it goes like a bloody rocket ship now  :y
In fact, i'd say its quicker off the line then my 3ltr manual was ;D ;D ;D

Just hope it does more then 15 mpg on lpg now  :D :D :D
