Hi guys ,
looking for some confirmation here :-\
May have found a decent set of leather MV6 estate seats & door cards for my '51 plate MV6 saloon from a Y reg MV6 estate
Been searching on here for relevant info as to what fits & what don't .
Am thinking that fronts are the same . . .so no probs there I hope
Rear seats . .absolutley no chance I know :( but will a set of leather rears from any saloon F/L model fit ? CD CDX or elite ?
All 4 door cards are also available . I think estate & saloon are interchangable but is there any cosmetic difference on the leather interior cards to the standard cloth trim ones ? :-\
TIA Al :y

They should do as all the frame fixings for saloon should be the same, i;e fl should all be same as any other fl . Not sure if the wiring harness will marry up though. :-\

Both cars are fl, front seats will fit, just need to follow the guide in how to section for wireing up the seat motors. All f/l door cards are the same will fit either estate or saloon.
you should have the wireing in the back allready for rear seat heaters :)

May not have the switches fitted though. :-\

Biggriff . . would you know if there is any difference in the cosmetic appearance of the cards fitted to leather interior cars or are the cards all identical in appearance on both cloth & leather . no point in me changing these if thats the case :-\

If they are from a car with black leather they will be a grey/black trim with either fake wood or silver trim,me thinks.you want the shop keeper mr robg to wander past and hope he has a photo. :)

Grey/black trim with silver inserts is what I have with the present cloth trim fitted. So no need to fit those then :) :)
thanks.
Just need to clear up this point that was posted about motor wiring now :-\ :-\

If the seats you have are MV6 Leather they should fit no probs do the leather seats have memory buttons if so they will be the same as elite seats if no memory buttons they should just plug straight in. :y

hi there .
i got an mv6 estate which had leather seats which i have now changed for the dark cloth ones .
but the only dark cloth seats i could get hold of came out of a saloon .
yes front seats straight in no probs .
back seats needed some work to make them fit as soloon and estate rear seats compleatly different.
but as i spent 20 years as an upholsterer making them fit was not as hard as i thought i would be .
used the estate seat frames and cut and machined the covers to fit .
result. more comfy and better looking than the old black leather

Bit confused now :-\ :-\ So door cards from a leather fitted F/L will be different from door cards fitted to a cloth fitted F/L car ?
I have seen leather interior F/L MV6's of course , but cannot remember noticing the difference in door cards .
Also ,i'm sure there was no "leather" on my F/L leather interior 3.0 elite door cards :-\ :-\
Still deciding if I'm gonna get these . . . as it's a 300 mile round trip . . may just wait for a full leather F/l MV6 interior to come up
a lot closer to home ::) ::) but £25 per front seat & £5 each door card . . . was very reasonable I thought :-\

A black leather Elite interior is wht you need in yours Al. :y :D ;D

Have thought about that Albs . . but I really like the "snug" feel of the MV6 front seats compared to the Elite . :D :D
Also wiring issues to sort . . . although reasonably easy I understand
Have you got an Elite set knocking about then ? :-\

yup. :D

Umm ! Thinking time required on this then :-\ :-\ :-\
