Old Mark is a reasonably good driver, but all things being equal the young kraut is better. ;)

Pirelli need fackin off out of it.Their tyres have been a joke this season, but today is beyond a joke. Apart from the fact that they have ruined the British Grand Prix, someone could have been killed !

Good drive by Rosberg, would have been a different story if Hamilton had not gotten that puncture.

Wish Mark had a few more laps, be great to see him on top step on his last race

Fair play to Nico, pleased for him. "He" seems a nice chap. :y

Its not lost on me that Red Bull chose to protest at Mercedes tyre test in Barcelona. There's something not right with that RB team IMO, seeing as I do believe the safety aspect of Mercedes defence at the Tribunal.

Red Bull. Little shits team, with little shits attitude. Mark is well out of it IMO.

Find it astonishing there were so many tyre failures, all same corner, same tyre.

Carbon fibre on the track maybe? Or just heavy wear on that inside tyre?  :-\

What does it matter when you were born?  :-\

I was not around in 1066, or 1815, or 1919, or 1945.

But I'm bloody proud of what Great Britain did then, greatly enjoy reading about the amazing deeds done by the everyday person. I was not around for the Falklands either, but I greatly enjoyed Vulcan 607 book, made me appreciate the flying Vulcan even more!

The fact you are not even a little shamed of Germany's past, does not surprise me  :-X

Yes, could be the case. However, I think it is wrong to point the finger at the rumble strips - they are used by other formulae without incident. Methinks Pirelli have a few issues with construction.

Yeah as they confirmed after the race, its been the "line" for years, the tyres should be able to cope.

All this tyre crap of soft/medium/hard, punishes drivers when teams go for the wrong type. They fall of a cliff, have no grip.

What happened to a tyre doing the distance of the race, let it be down to the car design, engine and driver  :(

I agree. The whole tyre change/pit strategy thing is part of the "WWF F1" (as Weber calls it) along with DRS/ KERS etc.
Send them out on tyres which are expected to last the race and may the best driver win - like it used to be before walt Disney started writing the regs. :y

Rosberg has been reprimanded for failing to slow sufficiently for yellow flags. He would have gained time over the others who did slow,so the question is,will Red Bull protest his win ?
Im sure they would if it was Vettel who finished second. :)

I wonder why no-one protested at where Vettel parked his car causing a safety car,he had ample time to get it off the track ::)
