When moving oil and fuel around there is always going to be a slight risk of an accident.
This one in Canada is nasty where the train derailed and caught fire in the middle of a town. 60 people are missing. :(

I have always wondered what would happen if one of the super ship gas tankers exploded wherever they dock to unload in the UK. Milford Haven I believe is one port those ships use. :o :o

not sure lizzie, but I think they offload about half a mile offshore, tethered to a mooring platform, mostly out of harms way !

After seeing, hearing and feeling an explosion on a methanol tanker 12 nautical miles away from the rig, I agree LZ, 1/2 mile is definitely not far enough away!
