Hi All, noticed this morning I have oil in the expansion tank, but not in the sump.....Head Gasket??

Oil cooler most likely.

As long as you don't mean you have no oil in the sump, that would be bad

Good, glad there is oil in there ;)
Lots of us on here have changed oil coolers for those exact symptoms. Flushing does take ages and is also worth removing the temp switches in the rad and cleaning them. Even when I had flushed my rad the car ran hot as the fans don't run when they should, just needed the switch cleaned, passenger side, half way down rad.

Thanks for the tips, but to be honest I have been looking at getting rid, so this may be the thing to convince me!! :y
