Title: Citroen C2 vts oil question

as above
The car is on a 04 plate with the 1.6 16v engine.

Can I use 10/40 semi synth on this engine ?

Think they spec a 5w40 fully synth on that for the long service intervals,probably won't hurt if you short change though :y

edit  just checked and 5w30 synth, 10w40 semi and 5w40 synth all listed for that motor :y

The owner mostly does short journeys so i'll tell him to get the proper stuff  :y
