There's one up the road from me.

Went in not so long ago and was astounded by their prices. Didn't stay long.  :o

Pretty sure the original Car Craft was the one local to us in Rochdale. They've always had a reputation for inflated prices & making their money on payment methods. In fact at their newer show room, it was laid out such that you couldn't just walk in & browse their cars ........ you'd to pass a version of Checkpoint Charlie where you'd to give various personal details before you could get in the show room.

Yep, Kwikfitup will never change their spots! ::) ::) ::) ::) :-X :-X

My local excellent tyre, brake and exhaust specialists knew last week that Kf were on TV again for the wrong reasons, and they well knew why!  The trade are well aware of that outfit. >:( >:( >:(

Some interesting reminders in there :y

The fuel economy figures, whilst not actually being the manufacturers fault, are easily overlooked... that extra implied cost through lower real life economy figures could pay for the RFL of a much larger model, which will probably return much more reliable figures :-\

A supercharged V8 being a case in point ::) the VXR 8 Bathurst S has an official combined figure of 18.7 mpg, in reality (once the novelty has worn off ::)) will probably be over 20mpg day to day. This means that it should cost less in fuel that you might expect 8). Not in itself a reason to buy one, but it might help justify it to SWMBO ::)
