Samsung Galaxy S4 and S4 Zoom which has a x10 Optical zoom... Don't like the phone but an interesting combination if not a tad bulky.

Saves having 2 different devices in your pocket IMO mate

Like i don't always want a camera but if you need one for whatever reason its a part of your phone which is also a smartphone which ( I do at least ) have it on me pretty much all the time when i'm out. Handy to have an all in one device as long as its capable in all areas  ;)

when they make a phone that makes me coffee I will be impressed ---you know me mate---metal worker not electrickery stuff only gadget I got is my laptop---my phone is a samsung nano lite-I think :-\ all I can tell you is its chrome and makes calls--its all witchcraft to me :-\ But you love your gadgets and gizmo's---Which I'm glad you share with us all--as you explain what they do--in language luddites like me can understand :y :y :y

All smart phones these days have decent cameras but the lack of optical zoom is a problem not needed most of the time but would be nice to have the option without the phone being bulky (maybe one day).

Cameras and phones have grown to be similar sizes I suppose, so some logic there.

Bit I don't want anything that bulky, iPhone is good enough toy my pic needs.

Handy if you take a few pickys and then want to email them on  :-\

With a zoom lens, you can get more of the image on the screen so need less resolution which also means smaller file size to send  :-\

Or I might be talking 'dangle berries'  ;D

very nice addition, but agree i'd rather just buy a camera or a phone on it's own
