Mmmm. You're making me hungry. Didn't bother with sarnies today - customer visiting = free lunch. Free lunch was not up to expectations though. :'(

I must admit, I do a mean cottage pie.

Never had a bad response.

I usually make a pie which would easily feed four adults.

Divided into quarters I have one swmbo has one, she gets little helpings throughout the night and hey presto!

No more cottage pie.

Even all family and friends end up with clean plates.

Not too bad for a guy. ;)

The Lamb/Beef mince difference rings a bell, Cheers.
Martin. In full agreement with butchers mince, sausages, bacon, steaks & roasting joints etc. Only one butcher left in Immingham now but he's a proper butcher, makes his own pies, sausage, chick/m'room, game, pork pies & more, all home made, plus he has rabbits pheasants, venison + more.
Nice to see a real butcher still going. His Lincolnshire bangers went down well at last years Lakesmeet..Bob cooked 'em...!!! :y
