Title: Blanking off the EGR Valve
Post by: PhilRich on 15 July 2013, 20:31:04
Please excuse my ignorance of the subject, but when you blank off the EGR valve, do you fit the blanking plate as a 'sandwich filling' between the valve and head casting, or do you fit the blanking plate in place of the valve and fasten the valve out of the way somewhere, still plugged in electrically (if that makes sense :-\) ???

The blanking plate goes in as the sandwich filling and is left connected electrically.

As said, easiest way is a sandwich plate :)
