If you are on about Omega-As, we call them Carltons over here in the UK.
We had GSi 3000, which was C30SE, and obviously the Lotus Carlton (same as Europe's Lotus Omega)...

I did mean that Omega, not Carlton.

In addition we had the (wonderful) Senator* 2.5 or 3 litre straight six :y
*a version of the Carlton when you called them all Omega's under the Opel badge.

Yes it was dreadful on the rear wheel arches, and indeed spelt the end of my ownership of a 3.0 CD version! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Those straight sixers are off course builded afterwards.
Usually that engine is taken off from scrapped carlton and then fitted to
2.0 omega...

At least one member has put a 3.6 Lotus Carlton/Omega engine in their Omega. Kinda pointless puting the 3.0 Carlton engine in Omega - no power gains, and its weight and size are far from ideal...
