This calculator is great if you're considering bigger wheels or tyres:-

In case you haven't seen it before  ::)

Okay, its Monday and I need some food input.

Does this actually work correctly?

- I foresee an error here on my part but is this right, if I change the width of the tyre the diameter alters?

Try the default 195/15 65% was 24.98"
and 205/15 65% shows 25.49"

Lets face it is may only be 2.21% (it isn't but says it is) but every ˝" helps!

Maybe I can increase my profile even more ..

Errrr - that's a vital part of the calculation, the second numbers in the tyre size - ie 45 - is the ratio, (as a %) of the sidewall height,  to tread width - ie 245, so yes it affects the diameter, & yes it works correctly!  ::)

Brill,  thank goodness dinner is nearly ready!    :-[

I must have been in 100% mode (solid tyres and cable brakes too I guess).
