Title: The dreaded fld vision error

Why today after installing a new coolant tank and disc pad's should I start getting this error when I dont have self adjusting lights

Grrrrrrr  >:(

Any suggestions guys & gals

Didn't know Diesel could run off LPG  ::)

Probably jacking up stressed the sensor, its attached from suspension arm to body, so fully extended suspension pulls the sensor out of its usual normal ride height position. If the small ball joints are seized on the little link arms its probably popped the large ball out of the sensor socket at the back.
Freeing up the link arm joints and greasing the sensor socket might see it  behave for a while once its popped back together. But once its popped out, they seem to need replacement soon after.

Although you might be able to bodge it with tie wraps or rubber bands. I never had much luck with that though.

Look in wheel arch gap nearest the door front and rear for dangling bits that shouldn't be there.

So you mean he's a happy sort of chap,  "carefree", "happy", or "bright and showy" ..... sounds OK to me .. :)

But either way, it shows the sensor itself , which is same front and back.

Well the little arm had popped out of the connector - thanks chris & phil

No dangly bit's though

So now i know i have self adjusting how do i test they are actually adjusting  :-\

and there are plenty of those about at the moment - austerity ::)

at least it's a quick re-fix until I have to replace it

One of the breakers here might have a good used one, if its needed.

They where over £50 each when I needed one, and that was years ago. They have gone up considerably since. :(
