I though he was a very funny man,no age either :'(

Just heard the news on Mel, very sad, I always liked him when he worked alongside Mr Jones :(

Agreed - still the loss of a great and innovative comedian.  RIP.

Worries me that people a lot younger than me are dying ???

I found out yesterday, via a friend of mine whose wife knows his wife, I did meet him at a charity bash in Sussex a few years back & he was a really nice fellow no airs & graces and very very funny.The only thing I thought about him at the time was he seemed to be in some kind of gastric discomfort, so who knows what was wrong with the poor chap such a shame , he was the same age as me as well ..R.I.P Mel.
