Hi everyone, I need some suggestions!! I have now just about located all of the Steinmetz body parts for my 1999 Elite estate (no easy task I can assure you..........coming from various outlets over Europe!).The one thing I`m undecided on though is what wheels to put on the car when its finished. I think they need to be 18"`s to get the right appearance.Steinmetz do still produce some apparantly but I am curious to know if anybody knows of any alternatives. Somebody told me that Monaro wheels should fit which have an offset of 45 (not sure if thats ok?). What do you guys think, you can have an input into my car!! Cheers for now Micky :y

check mine in gallery fella got 19"s on !! 8-) 8-)

19" is about the max you can really go, i think someone here put 20" on but the ride was just appauling!!
17" is the biggest factory fit :y

Isn't appauling ride down to low profile tyres (harsher) wider tyres (tramlining) and incorrect set up? :-?
I know Albatross is well happy with his 19" wheels on MV6 Springs set up nicely by Tony at Wheels in Motion ;)

got no problems with mine at all ! mind did go from 235/45r17 mv6 wheels to 265/30r19 !! goes round corners much better ! :y

Thanks for your suggestions guys but does anyone know about fitting those Monaro wheels, I`m curious................and Markey, yep those 19"s do look pretty cool but I think I may need a bit more profile depth on an estate!! Cheers Micky!!

Mine is all set up with the Steinmetz kit and with 19" wheels on, OK it's a saloon, but I think they'd look good on an estate too.

As above you need 5x100 wheel stud pattern. I think a 35 offset is what you need, but you can always use Eibach hub-centric spacers like I have done.
My car had ET35 17" Elite wheels on it. My Signum VXR wheels are 19" and with an offset of ET45. The spacers are 25mm per rear corner and 16mm per front corner.
I have self-levelling with MV6 springs and the self-levelling sensor adjusted to suit.
The whole lot above all sets up perfectly right in the middle of the range of tolerance by Tony at Wheels-InMotion
