It had to happen >:(
a friend was taking the car out for a spin, in the big farm yard at work, and he put a nice hole in the drivers seat, when the window caught the end of his ciggie ( I know, should not smoke ). Is it a new seat or seat cover, or something else.
its right on the edge, so cannot be hidden, and you see it every time you get into the car

Only four bolts to replace the seat :y at his expense, obviously ::)
-
Seat covers are discontinued at vx, almongwith door cars btw.
Easiest is to swap the seat out as said.
-
no doubt someone on here has or knows of the particular article,
-
Stick a wanted ad including a pic of the type of seat in the test zone and ask an admin nicely to mve it to the correct section. Then see if you get lucky. ;)

As others have said, replace the seat with one from a breaker. If yours had heaters, ensure the replacement's heater works first.
-
thanks everyone, will sort out a new seat this next week or so

aren't they separate heat pads in a fabric seat though ...... easily swapped if the replacement's don't work. ;)

Still a lot of fiddly faffing about - for some reason I find messing with the seats really awkward :-[
