Title: Box solenoids interchangeable?
Post by: omegod on 31 July 2013, 18:46:46
I have read somewhere on here that the solenoids on the AR25 and AR35 are the same, even to the extent that the 1-2 solenoid is the same as 2-3. Can anyone clarify as I need a cheap one asap as hoping to take the 2.2 MIG away rather than wifeys tiny Fiesta  :'(

Found an old thread from here on google but am buggered if I can find it again

1-2 & 3-4 are the same. Same solenoids in both 25 & 35

This is the thread that confused me, looked like a 1-2 could be used to replace the 2-3

1-2 solenoid and 3-4 solenoid is part number....209 35 01
2-3 solenoid is part number.......209 35 02

and it wont physically fit without breaking the tab off and then it wont work cos while one is in the open/on state the other is in the closed/off state...
