As above. The cynic in me says hes chasing the £££. Hes a Yorkshireman ;D.......and he has made no secret of the fact he wants to be paid a lot more than hes currently getting.
However,if hes very lucky,by next year all the Audi money & technology may start paying off and he might just have a rapid bike under him.
As always, time will tell I suppose. It will be interesting to see how he stacks up against Dovi,as when they were previously team mates, Dovi was obviously better by quit a margin.

Good luck to him as I think he has improve each season, so I hope he continues to do so and makes a success of riding the Ducati. He does still make too many mistakes, but I think the next two seasons will be pivotal on showing if he has the talent to make it to the top. He certainly has the raw speed.
Reading what Steve Parrish has written it was the lure of being in a full works team that was the main attraction, but I'm sure any extra money will be welcome. Any sports person's career is fairly short, so you can't blame anybody for chasing the money while they can, especially as they can be dropped by the team, injured or worse at anytime.
