What is the forgotten supercar pictured in my avatar?
The correct answer wins an all expenses paid trip to St Lucia, for you and your lady. Honest. :y
-
Is it a Bristol?
-
Looks like an Iso Grifo to me ?
-
Nope on both counts, although this beauty does look similar to an Iso Grifo. :y
-
De Tomaso. I claim my £5 ;D

Looks like an AC428 to me.
But it could be one of the other Frua designed cars, they do look all a bit alike

Correct. :y :y
Designed by Frua, it came well endowed with a seven litre (428 cubic inches) Ford V8.
P.S ...2Woody.....although I said St Lucia, I actually meant Rhyl.
The 1960's two berth caravan will be available from January to March.
Enjoy your prize. :y :y :y

Mrs V and myself visited Rhyl on a SUNDAY back in the 80's. I think it was 1983. It was a blazing hot summer and air con was something only those people with fitted car radios might have had. We arrived at the beach and ran out into the sea to cool off. Then a hundred yards out we realised we were surrounded by jellyfish. Zillions of them. Took us quite a while to get back to the beach where we then noticed lots drying on the sand. Neither of us got stung mercifully. We needed a drink and fast. On a Sunday? You had no chance.Couldn't even find anywhere that sold food on a Sunday.
I also have a recollection of going to Rhyll on the early hovercraft as a nipper. That might have been in 1962 or 63. We went from Wallasey near where my great aunt lived. It was noisy very noisy.
