Just being re building my notebook after a win 7 upgrade :-X
Noticed that the ac stag software number has changed to 9.3.0.1.
Is this the latest / final upgrade for the stag 300 plus / isa controllers ?
Mines running 9.1.0.1 or something like that at the moment

That's the software for ecu's manufactured before November 2009 Albs :)
What's up with yours anyway ?

Sounds about right then.Mine would predate that. The software worked fine for the first few months.Didnt use it for approx. 18 months.Plugged lappy & lead onto car a couple of months ago,and constantly got "no LPG controller" message. ???

The programme Driver has probably become corrupted Albs. If you still have the software disc you can do a re-install or look for a copy on 'tinternet :-\

Not sure if I had/have the disc.LD sorted it all out on my lappy for me.
Will have a browse on tinternet when I get time. :y

Search for AC lpg USB driver and download it from the AC site ;)

Done. :y
Was the same version, but uninstalled what I had and downloaded and installed again. Will have a play in the morning and see what happens. :y
-
Didn't work, still the same.Plug the lead into the usb port. Both lights on the little black box flash twice then stop. :(
-
Albs, have you tried changing the Port connection in the software ???
Top left hand corner of Main Software page is the 'Port' button. Open this & select different types of connection one at a time & see if it then recognises the ecu. Apologies if Grandmother & Suck eggs applies :-[ ;)
-
Didn't know about that option.Will give it a try,thanks Phil. :y

Had a similar problem with jusme's last month.
I left the engine running with all connected then removed the stag ecu fuse for a few minutes.
Replaced it then re started the stag software on the laptop and it connected straight away.
Albs, remove the software off your laptop, re boot it then download it off this site ................
The bit you need is under the "Attention bit"

Just remembered ................... had a similar problem with my laptop a few months ago.
Got to the point where I idioted the usb module with percy and ended up getting a new one off ebay.
Plugged that one in and it downloaded the driver off t'nternet straight away without any problems

Removed old,and downloaded that last night. Will try the fuse trick. :y
And sorry for hijacking your thread. ;)

No worries :)
I didn't get the answer anyway so i'll plug it into mine and see if the controller updates ;D ;D
Best hide percy first or i'll be another 30 quid out of pocket :D :D :D

Tried the fust trick and port -discoonect/connect.No change. Lights on interface box flash quickly as you would expect, until the lead is plugged into the port. Then they blink twice,go off,and "no controller" message appears on screen. :-\
-
Sounds like you have the same problem I had when I fitted the system to my new shed :(
Anybody round there got a lead you can borrow ?
-
Doubt it. ;)
