Any members near Cricklade? I'm possibly going over there to do 4-5 weeks work at start of September I'm hoping someone can recommend somewhere cheap to stay? Not sure yet exact details of the site but I'm told its just outside Cricklade.

Cricklade itself is a very small place, not much going on. As far as I can tell (worked there a few times) quite an affluent area so expect to pay strong money in the local boozers.
A quick taxi ride into Swindon will give you vast amounts of choice. :y
Stratton St Margaret (a town of Swindon close to Cricklade) and home of the Mini (well the panel manufacture anyway) has many pubs and takeaways. The Dockle Farmhouse is a Wetherspoons, and quite a good one if you want cheap beer and reasonable food at little cost. I eat there quite a lot when working at the Mini Plant.

Thanks guys, looks like I'm heading over on the 31st to get the travelling out of the way and find the lay of the land etc. Will prob be over for around 4-5 weeks so can definitely meet up at some stage, once the working day is over there's not much else to do but go or a few jars when your away from home.
