Hello everybody, I've just replaced my 1998 omega A MV6 for an estate 2.5TD Omega B kids...;0)
And now I'd like to put my stereo in. I've got the old one out but I need to feed a few cables from the back of the stereo to the footwell or thereabouts. Anyone have any experience in this please?
There's bluetooth, USB and an Aux cable...
Thanks in advance,
Graham.

Yeh, done this on a Bose install into a non-Bose car once. A nice piece of stiff wire such as some 1.5mm twin and earth is good as a 'pull' for routing the cables through. You'll need to drop the fuse and relay boards for access and be careful of running cables close to the steering column.

Passenger side:
take the glovebox out and feed the wires through as described above.
Drivers side:
take the instrument cluster out to gain access to pull the cables through. Routing cables over the steering column is safer IMO than letting them go under and possibly get tangled in the pedals.

Agreed :y a fair bit of dismantling to do, but much neater results for it :y

Just a quick tip - If you are removing the instrument cluster (very easy), tilt the steering wheel down! Sounds obvious, but can be an easily missed thing to do.
