Title: Automatic gearbox prolem

Hi im a bit puzzled by a problem ive got with my automatic gearbox when I first use the car its fine but then when I switch it off and go back to use it when I put it into drive its as if its in top gear I don't have any warning lights or anything showing up then if I leave it maybe a few hours then use it put into drive it could be fine again does anybody have any ideas whats up thanks

Any warnings on the computer display (or the Gearbox Fault light illuminated under display if its GLS or ex-plod)?

Hi no warning lights and all the lights are as should be when it goes like this you can't press the sport or winter button

Limp mode then.

Get a code reader on it capable of reading gear box ecu. And check the fluid level, guide in maintenance.

Ok but it was supposed to have been changed but will have a look any idea if that's all ok
