Right... Oil is £12 a can, so £24. Plugs are £2.70 each, so £16.20, sump washer is 10p. Total £40.30 plus Vat is £48.36, not £72.
Oh and an oil filter is   less than a fiver including Vat.

Secondly, discs and pads as a kit are £110 plus Vat, so £132 ish

Put another way... I bought four plugs, 5w30 oil, air filter, pollen filter, oil filter and sump washer for a 1.8 vectra for a total of £75 including Vat from my local ish dealer :-\

Spoke 2 Andy in Bury Tuesday, my intention was to order some bits, but he said manager says no more Car Clubs and no parts sent in post, this is my own fault concentrating to much on work, if I now want to sort front suspension there will be no change out of £500 :'(

Front shocks are about £90 each. Don't buy wishbones, replace the rear bushes with genuine (£20 ea), poly bush the fronts and replace the ball joints with ones from allgerman. Drop links are a service item, any way, so £10-15 each is reasonable :y

Take it the only thing actually on offer there is vaseline ::)

sounds like trade not trade club prices.  or worse still

I'm working on getting TC account myself. If I manage it, I may be able to offer a similar deal to Andy C
