I need 10L of the above ATF - Mobil 3309/Toyota t-iv/GM 9986195 - to do a box flush on my lexus :(
In the states, it's about $5 a quart - about £2.50 a litre.
the cheapest I can find is £28 a gallon - or £6.50 a litre >:(
that supplier is about 15 miles away (so a tenner in petrol to collect)
anyone know of a cheaper alternative? OpieOils seems to be about £10 a litre + postage, so about £100, even with the discount, and there's been no promotions advertised for quite a while :(

Am guessing from the gm number its a dexron atf you need to find what dexron it is am guessing its about dex 5 at that year, and a fully sympathetic at a guess, and also a life time fill with top ups so hence the price,
So you could use a good fully sympathetic atf i guess, try TC 20L drums on special offer i think.

mmm lot of conflicting info about weather its dex compatible or not, its used in volvos, saabs and toymotoers, but as you have the gm number worth a call there first, also check on shell.

Have you tried Opie Oils?

The reason I have to flush is cos it's got something unknown (and brown, and gloopy) in it :(
