there`s a bloke out there with a very similar email address to mine; but must include a hyphen or something. He constantly gets his email address wrong or is he ???
Consequently I now have lots of personal data sent to me like his upcoming easy jet flight details, his mobile fone bills. Hotel rooms he reserves but never confirms because I have hiis reservations sitting in my in-box & not his. I know his mothers maiden name, where he lives & lots of messages from someone called yoyo. she`s not happy just lately cos he never returns her mail. this all started about 12 weeks ago & boy is this bloke busy & constantly on the move. I don`t fully understand how this happening TBH. surely if you mail someone the message gets retuned to the senders email ??? very weird

If you know all about him, contact him and let him know......... :y Personally I would be aware of phishing sites and spam the lot....... ;) ;)

I thought one of my mates was playing a prank or something.

I wish I had a girlfriend called YoYo! ::) :)

sounds like he might have his 'reply to' address configured wrongly.
-
This is dodgy as most sites expect you to re confirm an email address so he would get nothing at all and no activation mails etc.

I get this on gmail all the time - I have his childs school schedule (who still email me, despite my protests), I had legal documents pertaining to a property purchase, I know he runs some LGBT centre in the US, I get his laundry bills.. ;D
At one point it appeared that his address was 'aaron.j.b' and Google had allowed him to sign up as that but was then stripping the dots and delivering it to me ('aaronjb') but now I think, based on his name, that his address is meant to be 'aarongb' and people just keep writing it down wrong..
Ah well, if I ever want to steal an identity... ;D

True.. but only if he knows my passwords :) I'd love to be able to tell him all these people have his email address wrong, but all I know is his name and the only email address I have for him is ... mine! ;D

My other half gets this all the time.
When Hotmail first started doing the .co.uk domain, she managed to get her Christian name @ Hotmail.co.uk.
Many others out there have several variants of this addy (eg, Christian name followed by a dot), and this is probably where the confusion arises over the similarity.
