Hi everybody, headlights on my 2001 cdx the xenons are at there highest position in the trees lol.No fld warning and have tried to use adjusters but both dont move the lights at all. Would i be right in saying that if i unplug front wishbone sensor i should get an fld warning on dash and on turning on they should go up and down then stay in the lowest position. Before fixing them i had an fld warning but i saw the lights move and they were at there lowest, all i can think is its the sensors. Can i not just remove the headlights and put the non motor xenons in.Any ideas thanks :y

I'll be watching this thread closely... :y
Not sure mine are automatically levelling them selfs to be honest, Is there a way to test that they are adjusting them selfs ? My main beam seems a little high also but passed MOT though and no one flashes me on the road, Maybe not got used to the look of HIDs very bright :-\..

Yep the lights on a dark road without main beam are way up high, as if the mains were on high beam. On road suface changes cant see them adjusting etc. Gonna unplug them see if they move on start up.I know best thing to do is remove both headlights and check motors etc or get it tech2ed to checked.Just need a quick fix for moment keep you posted :-[

I believe it's best to disconnect the battery before removing these type of headlights. Hope it's an easy fix mate :-\ :y

Don't know about anyone else but with HIDs I don't feel the need to use main beam.

Had a look today disconnected loom to wishbone sensor, which threw up dash warning, im getting 5v down loom to plug. On cold start up, headlights do move from a low off position at same time together to a high up position, they then sound like there both trying to adjust down, but dont move down, just stay high!.What i dont understand is if they can move up from low position why dont the move to fld warning low position.Manual adjusters bust on both i think. Next move i will try them against a wall in the dark to check position i suppose and all i can think that sensor is bust telling them to remain in high position no matter what and after a couple of starts and removing plug ecu is reset ,does it do this lol :-\
