Just made a small purchase on ebay, paid by pay pal, as I usually do, seem to give me the option to delay payment till after delivery, 14 days, is this something new? as a seller I would not be happy with this..... ??? ???
I can see that this may be for protection, but you get the goods and don't pay, then what happens?

I have bought a few things over the last few days and have not had this option, so maybe it is something a seller can opt into? Will the money be reserved on your card, so there are sufficient funds for payment?

never seen that before ??? I would be a little careful on that it seems a little strange not paying til after you get item. ??? :-\

Well I paid in full as usual, purchase less that £8.00 so even more reason to wonder.... ::) ::) Need to buy something else to see, need fish food, so shopping tomorrow I guess..... ;) ;)

Yes I clicked on the delay payment. But it seems once I had done it it seems all my payments are delayed and I cant see a way to reverse it. It maybe just down to business sellers as that is all I have bought from lately.
I think paypal take the money from your account, or at least put a reserve on that money in your account.
I wonder how it will work for private sellers and dare I say it buying on here and other forums ?

This happened to me before when I was selling. PayPal said that I had to post the item before I would get paid.
I think it was because I had just opened a new PayPal account so I had to prove myself as trustworthy before I would get paid.
I think PayPal were going to withhold the payment until the buyer was satisfied with the item.
