When in London last week I was getting patchy WiFi, but not sure if that was just luck
-
Looked at o2 4g coverage map of London, very limited so far.

WiFi on the tube I could tolerate. Heaven forbid that there is a widespread mobile phone signal :( The tube is one of the few refuges from the loud and moronic conversations of others.

All mobiles should be banned in public places, anyone not using vibrate but broadcasting their ring tone to the nation, should get an ASBO :y :y ;D

Actually, the ring tones don't bother me to much, they are not human. It's having no choice but to listen to idiot conversations that I dislike. My only reason for having an MP3 player and headphones is to isolate myself on the train into Central London. I really want one of those illegal phone zappers :y
I really would not mind if conversations were remotely interesting, but they are not. Just about the very fact thay he/she is on a train and will be there in 10 minutes or some other crap. There was an interesting one once, a drug dealer !!! (I am still alive) It's funny how people get indignant when you look like you are listening to them, but in reality there is no choice but to listen to them.

Possession is not an offence under UK law, it only becomes illegal if you get caught using it ;)

Well your be pleased to know, untill that happens, the 5 big Networks are planning free App Downloads, so you can get your Text Messaging over the Tube WiFi. ;)

That sounds good :y I don't have a problem with "things" it's just people, their egos, their voices, their lack of consideration, and their general moronity that irritate me.
Just a thought, maybe it's me turning into a grumpy old fart, sorry I meant a grumpier old fart

I was quiet impressed with the download speed though, probably because no bugger is using it, once you get past the Landing Page, then login etc (Im assuming you stay logged on for 24 hours or something) you can automatically pick it up at each station.
I did a test, BBC iPlayer on the phone, downloaded Sunday nights Dragons Den, about 260Mb, took about 5 stations to complete, so I can see its got its uses, emails, attachments etc on the go!.

Nice to see you're using it constructively ;D
