Any comments on Febi steering idlers?
Hopefully better than 13 months from a Febi crank pulley.

Bet Lemforder is on fatties "List" of not to buy from.

Bloody hell. We've all been following HIS recommendation! (Among others)

As said what's wrong with Lemforder now? No problem with mine from allgerman.

Ps if we're making the comparison in quality between parts of one manufacturer....

...given the utterly appalling efforts febi call wishbones for the omega, why on earth would you consider Febi for steering idlers? Given that Lemforder bones and light years ahead of Febi ones.

Just wondering about the logic?

Fitted a lemforder Idler from AGP few months ago on OOFs recommendation on the Elite and all seems fine, It does have surface rust nothing serious, Although I've noticed a creaking type sound from that area under heavy steering sometimes, Steering is fine though.

If it was from Allgerman, Id try anyway, Jason normally seems very helpful and would have done a warranty on my wishbones, except I 'modified' em instead.

Maybe I should jack it up, see if it is the idler, or if the mount or something else is boogered.

If only I had a jack  >:(
