Car was parked on a side street and I came back from work to it - I knocked up some houses nearby but no one saw anything and no cars nearby with any damage :'(
Post in wanted section coming soon I think!
I could prob. get a wing but if I get a replacement door can I keep my existing locks and is it a big job to swap over all the other gubbins?
Thanks

Bastards!
Wing is easy (so I hear) , door replacement is not too hard. Much easier with 2 people, as they are bloody heavy!
Then just swap over door locks as you say :y
-
:'(
Some people have some bloody cheek >:( >:( >:(
Was it parked where there would have been CCTV cameras :-\
-
Wings are easy enough. Doors aren't too bad. Needs two people though really. Locks can be kept and fitted to the new door.
As well as colour, try to get an Elite door, as it saves swapping looms for the memory functions. Fiddly bloody job that is.
Iirc doors will not fit in a saloon. :( so you need delivery, or an estate.

:o
Is that a chunk been took out the alloy :(
-
Actually, wings need skirt and bumper of iirc? All very doable though.
-
there may be some cameras around especially in shops :-\

There are some wukfits around atm >:(

Can get away with removing headlight trim/wheel arch liner and un clipping the front couple of clips on the skirt(one torx screw under the front edge of the skirt iirc). Drivers side has the added complication of the carbon canister, but obvious enough once wheel arch liner is out :y
Once the bumper is released from the liner you can push the end down to access the bolt behind it :y

Thanks for info. guys :y
No CCTV.
The alloy has been grazed a little.
The door I could live with for a bit but the wing is unsightly.
I'll have a scoot around for the parts and take it from there.
There are definitely wukfits around at the moment - 2 weeks ago someone cruised into the back of SWMBOs car (thankfully minor damage) and on Monday i was cycling to work and nearly got run over by someone who pulled straight out in front of me.
Plus alot the women doing school runs have been out of practice and are all over the shop!

If you need a hand just shout. :)

Thanks alot :y
Am due to pick up a wing from Steve at Omega Parts Heathrow tonight.
-
Rear doors will fit between the front and rear seats of a saloon (1 at a time) so I would think fronts would too :-X :-\
-
Thats what i was thinking - will let you know if and when i get a door.
-
I had a front door in the boot, with seats down, before...
-
Door pins easier to deal with when wing is off ;y
-
Cheers for the tips :y
Just picked up a wing from Steve at Omega Spares. Nice guy with some handy hints. He gave me OOF discount and a free indicator lens :y
He said to pass on his best to all the OOFers and will try and get on the forum more often
-
Update.. New wing and door fitted courtesy of Mr. Gixer - Big thanks for that (and sorting my brakes out)! :y The spirit of OOF is still alive. :y
P.S. Chris your inbox is full!

Again ::) ;D
No worries Radar, looking good again now. :y
