A while back I asked what pin on the ECU would the lead from the MID go to as part of gathering info to retro fitting one to my 2.0 GLS. Sure TB said pin 21 but have discovered for some reason all my PM have gorn, unless it is an auto clear thing, so can I ask that question again.
Also notice that I have the leads for brake wear indication stowed under front wing, assuming as this is part of one loom fits most theory, if MID was fitted would that bring them into play.

There is a bulb on the TID for brake pads already :y
MID extra for brakes relates to brake lamps :y
Pad wires work by grounding the circuit putting a lamp on(TID) or a warning message(MID).

Interesting did not know that so wonder if mine are not connected as at some time the owner felt it was cheaper not have indicator pads

..... it was cheaper not have indicator pads
< sighs > :( :( :(
ALL pads are the same ...... there's no such thing as a pad with sensors built in, the sensor is a separate part that clips to the pad's anti-rattle spring

Andy that's easy to say if you know it, never ever seen one like that as you describe, all pads I have had with sensor wires have come with them in the pad

As AndyB says, GM tend to use standard pads, and seperate clip in sensors.
