Hi turbo weasel owners,
Got a question. My airpipe from the airpump has come lose from whereever it attaches to on the suspension etc.
It is still connected to the pump, its the other end that is loose.
I can't see where it is supposedto connect to. Maybe the part it connects to has fallen off as the end of the pipe is just a pipe, not fitting or anything so I may need one of those.
The best thing would be if somebody with a TD with SL suspension could take a picture of where the airpipe goes on their car and I can go from there, I may well need a spare part from a car thats being broken.

OK apparently there is something that splits the air to the two rear wheels, a central piece, I wonder if I am missing this or looking in the wrong place,
Can anyone help?
Thanks

There is a T piece on the petrol models.I would imagine the diseasel will be the same. :-\
Follow the airpipes from the shocks and that should lead you to what your looking for. :y

OK great,
do you know where the t-piece is roughly ie near the rear diff maybe?
I am wondering if this has fallen/been ripped off because I couldnt see anything before.

Im really busy today (decorating the bathroom :'( ::)) but I will try and take a pic tomorrow morning and post it. :y

Thanks so much buddy :)

Hi everyone,
Still got that pipe taped to the car, can anyone help with picture and the part, I suspect that I need the t piece that seperates the air lines, maybe, but I need photos of what it is supposed to look like.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

So sorry mate. I forgot all about this.My memory is shocking, its known as Albshiemers. :-[ ::)
Ive taken the T piece off the car now,but it lives roughly near the diff on the drivers side.
Ive just taken a pic of it on my bench.

Thanks buddy, I will go under the car soon and take a look for that piece.
As you say it is near the rear diff, on the drivers side. Is it infront of the diff (towards the engine) or behind (towards the boot)
Thanks

Im guessing my loose airline plugs into this piece somehow
-
ok went under the car and the airlines seem to be intact fine, my bad on that, turns out airlines are tiny tiny which is what others said, i thought they were bigger. So im not sure what that pipe is , maybe a release or venting etc but the air suspension still works i think so i tucked it into the body area so it doesent hang down anymore.
-
What is the other end of the loose pipe connected to? It's not the autobox vent pipe dropped down is it? :-\
-
The connected end is connected to the airpump itself, ontop of the pump
-
Pretty sure its just a vent pipe. Nothing to worry about. ;)

Awesome, I think the self-levelling still works well, i thought i was going to try it out last weekend but i might just put some heavy stuff in the back and check, thanks for your help. Out of interest do you do work on cars for money? I may need my water pump on my TD changed
