Title: Cam Cover Gaskets
Post by: P6UL K on 18 September 2013, 23:57:44
Hi,

Do the Vx cam cover gaskets come in a kit?  I did mine quite a few years ago now and I can't recall - Mine are still holding strong!

My mate has a 'S reg' PFL Omega and its started to misfire, I explained about the rain water issue getting into the plug nearest the bulkhead on the N/S when he mentioned about it also being filled with engine oil!!

Time to get the spanners out  :y

Don't believe they are a kit as such - you'll need gaskets, the 8 o-rings that sit under the fixing bolts (per bank) and the black sealant - listed here with part numbers - http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90542.0 (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90542.0) - likely the other seals listed in the guide can be re-used ;)
