Title: NCDC 2013 gone into 'Radio safe'

Hi Guys

My 2013 has recently started displaying 'Radio Safe' (with a beep) when in Sat Nav mode and Tuner mode. I have a CID.
The Satnav still works, its a pain to program as the radio safe comes up every 6 seconds.

When in the main screen its all ok. The steering wheels controls dont work either..

I searched the forum and found this thread

Which appears to be exactly the same as I'm having..

Was the reason ever resolved, and can it be fixed, does it require a 'chat' with a Tech 2 ?

Sorry, thats not very helpful  :-[

I have managed to recover a handful of these (there was a real spate of them last summer), although a couple of them made a dent in my, no diminished, parts supply for them.

Currently, I lack the equipment, plus you're a million miles away. How far is Kevin?

Which bit is buggered, the display or radio ?

Any particular reason why they should be failing, is it an age thing.

You did originally pair the CID for me..

In the ones I've seen, its always been the HU.

I vaguely remember doing yours, but for the life of me can't remember how/where we met up  :-[
