Used to work for a guy back in the 70's, lovely guy, who couldn't do enough for his work force.
Then he made his first million, after that he became unbearable to work for.
Now worth £500,000,000 + and has been knighted.
Just heard that he deducts £10 per week administration fee from each of his employees, for processing their PAYE & NI.
That's where I went wrong, thank goodness!

Im pretty sure that's completely illegal.Sounds like the sort of knob who gives businesses and employers a bad name. I spent 20 years working for one,he still owes me over £15,000. >:(

Actually this has reminded me. The guy I worked for, for many years resisted employing someone to be responsible for quality control, in company employing well over 100 people.
When the managers finally convinced him it had to be done,he deducted £5 per week from everyones wages to cover the cost. His reasoning was that the position wouldn't be necessary if they were doing their jobs properly. ;D
