Title: DIS PACK

Hi all,
My V6 has developed a misfire, and i am in the process of gathering together the relevent parts for a fix, i have a fairly new dis pack from a v6 vectra and the electrical plug I THINK is is in a different place to other v6 dis packs i have seen. Am i correct? if so will it still fit provided that the plug is the same shape, on my 97 prefacelift.???

There's 3 types off dis packs.

Ive got a late type dis-pack,i might have a mid term one to. £15 each. I think ive got a new set of 95/96 plug leads (the long ones) as well.

yes indeed, it is rectangular.... but will it still fit my 97.?  (provided the plug on to it is the same.)

Plus is unlikely to be the same, but if you whip off the scuttle you can see for sure :y

You can get a cheap dispack off ebay mate for around £40 fitted a few abd have lasted well over 12 months

Thanks for all the offers lads, i will find out what type and plug i have and post up on here when i have further news, might not be until weekend.

Have a look at the plug on the MAF gary, in every case i've seen they are the same shape as the dis pack ;)

If its the oval one, pm me because i've 2 sat here looking for a new home  :y
