Morning glory! ;D

Under all that tubing, hose, and aluminum/composite monocoque sits our engine hooked to a Hewland transaxle. Think we can slip that team under a Catera? (kidding)

I've seen one make 300 BHP on a rolling road (a properly calibrated one with a proper coastdown test not a bu115h1t pub figure one). That was a fairly well sorted example. Revved to around 9K IIRC ;)
Edited to say: That was normally aspirated not a LET.
In a Caterham too. 8-)
I would have thought it'd be a bit frenetic for an Omega. Let it drop below about 6k and it's bog down. ;D
..and that V6... :-* Looked at the spec and thought 294 BHP is not too shabby. Nope. That's the torque. :o

Now that V6 - Omega time?

I still favour the Chevy 350 in these cases, lazy engine with plenty of low down grunt with power accross the rev range, but has the tuning capacity to go really wild.
And then add a 150 Shot nos kit to prove a point to the japs when they need a reminder that being a jap import aint nothing special.

Ahh, yes. "I haven't got a car yet but I wonder if it runs?". Been there, done that, ears still ringing (didn't have any exhaust manifolds either). ;D
