Title: 3.0 v6 problem

I have a 3.0 v6 that wil drive 100 percent and revs perfect but when  im just driving at say 3000 rpm and just put the pedal to the floor its like she chokes herself.shd loses all throtle and  wont get it back for 3 to 4 seconds any idea whats wrong?

Same problem as before?????? Flip the key off and on and see if it clears it?

Read codes.

Do the usual.

Could be fuel starvation. Blocked filter or kinked fuel hose most likely causes.

gotitall sorted it was a throttle sensor problem. but thanks anyway

Interesting. This is the first case i've heard of the TPS going bad.... how was it condemned?

Interesting. This is the first case i've heard of the TPS going bad.... how was it condemned?
you see the 3.0 engine is a conversion from a 2.2 the loom was built for the car but the plug for the throttle sensor was the newer shape one and there was a newer shape tps but she needed the older shape plug and sensor :)
