Title: Road Tax again, and wasting money

It appears that the greens are anti road tax backdating too. Nice to see some good logic from the people labour were trying to please!

Since the countries finances are so bad, why waste all the money in the national ID database and ID card scheme - that would save quite a few billions.

Because no Police state is complete without one. >:(

IMHO: Long-existing State powers are perfectly adequate for dealing with all-matters 'terrorist', without the ruinously costly and personally intradictive national I.D card proposals .......doubtless, Orwell would be pleased at his-own foresight! ::)
