Hi all,
Does anybody know the part number or have a link for a metal water pump for the TD, ie the metal vanes or version and not the plastic one?
Thanks

I got mine from CAF 3 years ago, I think it was a Quintin-Hazell, replaced as a precaution. Been OK since :y

Ive asked if this has the metal vanes

If they're anything like petrol BMW engines, you'll struggle to find a plastic impeller.
-
Do you mean I will struggle to find metal? Metal is want I want so if its easy to find then great.
-
I meant plastic.
But you're right, I should have written 'metal pumps are much easier to find.'

Most of these, including the GM and LR ones (straight from BMW), as plastic impellors. And shit.

I only fit Unipart metal-impellered water pumps on the TDs; and've had no issues whatsoever with 'em.
Part number is UGCGWP2585 ... around 40 quid from Unipart stockists.
