Title: Locking Fob, Alarm and ECU Clarification needed.

3.0 FL MYR 2000.

Am I right in thinking the Central Locking and Alarm system is independent of the Main ECU?

ie, If I move Main ECU, Ing, Barrel Module and Key Transponders to another 3.0 I can just retain the Cars Keys and Fobs without issues?

Keys yes, fobs no :y sas the remote element is what the alarm ecu is for :y
