...from Monday onwards.
Can't say how much snow there will be, but wintry showers will start around then in the North and the cold is expected to stay for a good few days, with most of the UK feeling decidedly wintry.
Apparently.. ;)
-
In the third week of November? Never.
-
Keep calm everyone... it will soon be Christmas :-*
-
Met office and met check are warning of it but nothing to worry about for this month anyway. Will just be cold with wintry showers.
-
Gritters are out in Dunstable Bedfordshire tonight... :o :o

Probably best to be sure that they're working before it gets actually cold ::)

I'm taking advance orders for fresh newlaid snow. Cheap as chips at £30 a ton plus mileage (includes 'natural wastage' due to fluctuating temperatures en-route & subject to a minimum order of 100 tons which for comparison purposes is just enough to cover Mr Opti's Smallholding in approx 4" (thats 100mm in new money ;))!) of Virgin Northern Flakes :y.
Simply PM me with your enquiries & i'll get back to you asap 8)

That's a fair price but remember his is coastal snow, so will melt very quickly due to the salt air, if however you want virgin inland hill snow give me a shout..... ;) ;) :y

They've been out
wasting money gritting here. Salt has made the roads pretty slippery* yet it hasn't dipped below zero overnight yet. ::)
* - Felt that way from behind the wheel of the VXR8 I had an opportunity to test drive. :-X

This was standard but certainly made the 3.2 feel a bit asthmatic afterwards.

This has recently had this fitted:

And following last weeks fuel pump upgrade and remap is knocking just shy of 600bhp.

I work commute by Motorbike so it looks like its going to get fun soon....
They always blow it all out of proportion anyway.. we get nothing like we did 30 years ago.
Snow drifts 10 foot high. can't find the road let alone drive on it sometimes. and what did we all do.
Carried on as usual but just slower.
No one seems to be able to do that these days so they all have accidents and can't cope.
People are getting softer.
Snow and ice just makes it more challenging.
I drive a 44 ton artic for a living. if i can do it in the snow why can't they. The key is :y Drive to the conditions :y
Not a rant just common sense

Common sense, not a lot around now,you really wonder how some people get by at all sometimes!!

Half the problem is that nobody is willing to slow down anymore..
