Title: Anyone Want A (Good As) New Omega
Post by: Squealey on 14 November 2013, 20:10:49
Evening all

Not sure if this has been discussed but I've just seen this on EBay.

Nothing to do with the seller or owt, just noticed it. Must be amazing to drive!

Cheers

Wayne

It's been on there for some time and I reckon it will be for a while. Cracking car still.

Sensible price for a change... one to buy and stick in the garage, a classic in the making if ever there was :y

Unfortunately that's about all you could do with it to maintain its uniqueness. If you buy it and start piling the mileage on it wouldn't be long before it was just another run of the mill Omega! I'd love it though!

If that is genuine and was local it would be on my drive, 4 pot or now, see the price..... :o

Even if you need the belts and water pump doing still seems good to me, I paid more that that to have ours serviced, belts etc in the summer, OK 6 pot which swmbo chose to bully a builders truck with..... ::) ::)

I'm guessing that the mileage is a typo.

If not than it's only 30 miles from us.......Hmmm. :y

Pity it's  the 'under-endowed' 2.2 four pot version....... ::) ::) ::) ::) ;)

14K miles and 37 average mpg does not seem likely.

I've only ever got near that MPG on a long long run.

It's free now though £0

Achievable on a steady run, in a 2.2, I have certainly had 35/36 regularly on a 40 mile mostly dual carriageway ........... :y :y

Do able on a decent run, but not an average over 14k miles
