Come on Richie, don't blame the kids ::)
You had a crayon too, i think every manufacturer must put these under the back seat when the car's new ;)

is it a standard issue then with the car ;D ;D ;D

Seems to be -- we all have them !!!!
What used to surprise me when the kids were young was, you could find sand in the car 6 months after the last day at the beach!

if you do get him one, make sure he understands that he'll be part of the road traffic, and not a pedestrian with a motor, i'm sick of almost knocking kids off scooters on almost a daily basis because they've forgot they have to behave like cars and obey road laws
i was pulling up to the end of a side street and was aware of 3 scooters on the path, all 3 of them then completely obliviously parked in the middle of the road at the end of the side street, then started FAFFING about with their phones!! I hit the horn, didnt let go til one of the lads fell off and the other two had moved out of the way

he is quite sensible even though im a bit worried, as my dad was when i got my honda ss50 when i was 16, traffic wasnt like it is now though. i have warned him any problems and i'll smash it up and scrap it, he knows i mean what i say. hes been reading highway code books for a while now which is good but hes a pain when im driving as he keeps reminding me what the signs are. :( :(

I had one of those, I hit the first year of the 16 year old moped, mopeds changed overnight. ;D ;D ;D
Going through the same process with my youngest step son, 16 next week. He keeps talking to me about it, problem is swmbo does not share my thoughts. Any decision has been deferred till after his exams though, apparently he needs to be more focussed. ::) ::) ::)
Quiet on here last night, found my self on ebay and am currently the winning bider on a 50cc bike, don't tell the mrs. :-X
