So having managed to get another Screen off without breaking it (bit of team work with Albs here :y) now need to stick back on, obviously not the same Car, so any good sealant glue out there that can be recommended, preferably one that comes in one of those builders tubes and doesn't need to be heated.
There seems lots on the Web, but wouldn't know where to start, anyone with any experience?
Also does the old stuff need to be completely removed and re primed or can it be cut back, roughed up and used as a thin base?
Thanks, :-\

Ideally clean of and primed to ensure a good fit other wise the trims/screen won't sit right :y
Sikaflex stuff for sticking spoilers etc might do the job :y

Must admit did wonder about that stuff, seem to remember though, the front screen forms part of the front structure, so wondering whether that stuff has the right properties for the glass when hardened?, no idea, but will have a moody ontheir website and see what they do, :y

You need a windscreen bonding adhesive and primer, about 10 notes (or less) for the bits and easily available, get one with a primer.
Get as much of the old stuff as possible and cutting a V in the end of the nozzle helps to form a good glue ridge to bed the new screen on.

Most screen fitters, will slap a screen in for £20 drinky. :)

You need the body primer the glass primer, Suckers and a tube of bond and a good strong barrel gun. And a trestle would help. Then you need to do a perfect bead around the glass. If you get it wrong it will leak,So do as said above and pay for a fit only from your local one man band. :y

we use Sikaflex at work, good stuff :y If your having trouble getting the screens out use a cheese cutter wire, i can't imagine them being expensive.
